How do I learn about current job openings?

To find current job openings with Olive Security Training Center and Olive Group North America, click on the “Search for Jobs” on this website under the Career’s page.  You can search by location, Company, and or skills/keywords.  If you are a local, you can visit the employment kiosk at the business office in Nesbit, Mississippi.  Please contact Jimmy Patmon, Human Resources Director, at jpatmon@olivegroup.com for questions regarding the employment kiosk.

What is the best way to apply for a position?

The best way to apply for a position with Olive Security Training Center or Olive Group North America is to create a candidate profile on-line.  Creating a profile on-line will match you with any current and future employment opportunities with the Company.   You will receive an e-mail notifying you of potential matches of future opportunities as they are posted.  Additionally, by creating a profile, you are able to manage your account by updating your information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How do I apply for a local position in Nesbit Mississippi?

What are some tips and hints for my resume?

• Clearly define your objectives and what type of position you are looking for.
• List experience related to the position(s) for which you are applying. 
• List computer skills, activities, and honors.
• Limit resume to two pages if possible.Proofread and review for grammar and spelling.
• Do not include personal data such as gender, race, or age.
• What do I do after I have created my candidate profile?

Be patient.  After receiving your candidate profile, we will review your qualifications to see if they match any open positions that we currently have.  If they do, a representative from the Human Resources team will contact you to discuss the next step.  If we do not have a current opening matching your qualifications, we will retain your resume for possible future career opportunities.  

What are the steps in the hiring process?

If we determine that you meet the qualifications of a current opening, a member of our Human Resources team will contact you to schedule a time to discuss your background, experience, interest, and the current opening.  After the initial conversation, if you are selected to proceed in the process, we will schedule you for interviews with other individuals related to this position.  Our goal is to make the interview process as convenient and as informative as possible.  (Background checks and drug test will be conducted upon offer of employment.)

What should I keep in mind when preparing for an interview?

Be prepared to discuss your strengths, developmental needs, accomplishments, goals, and job expectations. Get to know the Company by reviewing materials available on the website.  During the interview, be yourself!

For optimal performance when searching for jobs and creating a candidate profile on this website, use Internet Explorer 5.01 and above browsers, Netscape 7.1 and above, and AOL 7.0 and higher.  Compatible operating systems are Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows XP.
